Below we explain our rules for review sources, publication, moderation and the protection of personal information.
Emilia Dell’Oro publishes genuine customer feedback and does not create or commission fake reviews.
How we verify reviews
When a review is marked “Verified Purchase”, it means we can link the feedback to a real order for the relevant product placed with Emilia Dell’Oro or through an approved sales channel.
Reviews from other eligible sources may be displayed only when the source is clearly identified. They are not presented as a verified purchase unless we have evidence of the purchase.
What we publish
We publish both positive and negative feedback when it relates to a genuine customer experience and complies with our content rules. A low rating by itself is not a reason to hide or remove a review.
When we may reject or remove a review
We may refuse to publish or may remove content that contains personal data, abuse, threats, unlawful material, spam, advertising, clearly irrelevant content, or claims that we have reasonable grounds to believe do not come from a genuine customer experience.
Photos and videos
When a customer submits a photo or video with a review, it is published only if it is suitable for display and does not infringe third-party rights or privacy.
Edits and transparency
We do not change the meaning or rating of a customer review. Where necessary, we may correct technical formatting or hide personal data without changing the substance of the review.
